Kevin Charles Wixson
Thirty somthing poet, photographer, and IT professional. Past work experience includes a position at McGraw-Hill, Sweets Group Division working in electronic publishing, and the Manager of Information Systems at Norman Camera in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he lives with his wife, Desi, and their many pets. Kevin graduated from KVCC in 2003 with an Associate Degree in Graphic Design and is KVCC's first graduate in their Post Associate Certificate program for Web Design.
Has been the SlamMaster of a Poetry Slam in Grand Rapids, organizer of poetry festivals and events in Kalamazoo including at Dirty's Outhouse Poets Cafe', as co-founder of the Kalamazoo Poetry Slam, and publisher of the DirtyWord Magazine.
John Zimmerman
Graphic artist specializing in digital image touchup and manipulation, but with experience also in illustration, typography, print layout and design, photography, animation, proofreading, copy writing, and miscellaneous web site jiggery-pokery. He has worked in the field since 1995 on everything from self-mailer brochures to 4-color Christmas ornament catalogs to Web site banner ads. His illustrious range of past dead-end work experience has included pizza fabrication and delivery; warehouse picking, packing and shipping; file cabinet drawer slide assembly; cafeteria management; hotel housekeeping; dishwashing; and clerical data entry.
For entertainment he enjoys kayaking, paintball, arguing, and writing parodistic screenplays.
